Archaeology Warwickshire – Recruitment

We are recruiting now! –

Archaeology Warwickshire are seeking expressions of interest from self-employed archaeologists wishing to be considered for fieldwork contracts in the midlands.

Archaeology Warwickshire is a dynamic provider of a wide range of commercial heritage services. Our reputation for proficient archaeological solutions and efficient, professional delivery has resulted in a high demand for our services.

We are looking for skilled, motivated, and mobile archaeologists with considerable experience in a wide range of British archaeology to undertake fieldwork both as part of a team and independently. We are particularly keen to receive expressions from archaeologists with a proven track record in undertaking and reporting on watching briefs, and/or supervising evaluations and/or directing excavations with report production to publication standard. We are also keen to expand our network of experienced historic building recorders and IHBC qualified built heritage consultants.

Archaeology Warwickshire is a CIfA Registered Organisation and we expect to pay over and above the salaried equivalent CIfA minima and BAJR approved rates (including the necessary uplift for sickness and holidays), and in return we expect to get professionalism, integrity and commitment.

Applicants should provide a minimum of two contactable referees; prove their self-employed status (or commitment to become so); provide evidence of their insurance and hold valid CSCS cards. Membership of CIfA is highly desirable.
