This workshop is usually booked alongside other Victorian’s at St Johns workshops as part of a whole day’s programme of activity. We can accommodate groups of 90 at St Johns House Museum. If your group is larger please call to discuss.

Workshop outline
A free, self led, exploration of the downstairs galleries and garden at St Johns House Museum. Find out about the history of St Johns House, meet some of our oldest toys, view the Victorian kitchen and Schoolroom and take part in some schoolroom activities from Victorian times. Play in the garden and have a go at the Victorian game ‘Grandmothers Footsteps’. Groups are given a set of quiz cards (answers on the back for the adults) and an activity pack to guide you around the museum.

This is a self guided session run by your staff/helpers. We recommend that one adult guides up to six children.
