This workshop is usually booked alongside other Victorian’s at St Johns workshops as part of a whole day’s programme of activity. We can accommodate groups of 90 at St Johns House Museum. If your group is larger please call to discuss.

Workshop outline
A free, self led, workshop consisting of various activities. Have a go at writing and drawing on our Victorian classroom slates, and become Victorian detectives with our schoolroom clue game. Find out about the history of St Johns House, meet some of our oldest toys, and play some Victorian games.

This is a self guided session run by your staff/helpers. We recommend that one adult guides up to six children.

If you wish to visit the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum (upstairs at St John’s House) during this hour long session there is a £1 charge per child. Booking needs to be arranged separately with the Regiment. See details
