Heritage Education – History Detectives

A 2 hour session for Key Stage 2 or 3 delivered at the County Record Office in Warwick. Choose a topic from Discovering the First World War, Discovering Crime and Punishment, Discovering Medicine or Discovering your Local History.  These topics meet the requirement for topics of special study within the new history curriculum.  Become History Detectives for the day and explore original documents to find out more about each topic.

Half day session at Warwickshire County Record Office.

Discovering the First World War with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. Full day including activitites at the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum.

Discovering Crime and Punishment. Why not make your visit last all day by also booking our “Put Your Pupils in the Dock” session at the Old Warwick Crown Courts?

Discovering Medicine. This workshop offers the opportunity to investigate original documents from the Record Office collections on the theme of medicine.

Discovering Local History. This workshop offers the opportunity to investigate original documents from the Record Office collections from your local area.
