Our friendly and trained facilitators deliver bespoke sessions in school or at one of our heritage sites across a range of subjects. We can tailor sessions to suit different abilities and ages, using everything from real and replica objects and documents to dramatisation and role play.

History Detectives

A 2 hour session for Key Stage 3 delivered at the County Record Office in Warwick. Choose a topic from Discovering the First World War, Discovering Crime and Punishment, Discovering Medicine or Discovering your Local History.  These topics meet the requirement for topics of special study within the new history curriculum.  Become History Detectives for the day and explore original documents to find out more about each topic.

Lunaticks and Fingersmiths (English Language Changes Since 1700)

A 2 hour session for Years 12 and 13 following the syllabus for English Language B: Language Changes since 1700, delivered at the County Record Office in Warwick. Handle everything from an original recipe book from the 1700s to airmail letters and telegrams from the 1970s – and learn about how language has changed over time.

Summer Holiday Workshops for Pupil Premium Funded Summer Schools

Delivered in school during the summer holidays by one of our Heritage Education group leaders, these are an ideal way to spend your pupil premium money and are perfect to give pupils making the transition to year 7 in September a chance to get to know each other during the summer holidays.
