Workshop outline
Experience St Johns House Museum dressed for a Victorian Christmas, come celebrate as the Victorians would have done. The cook is waiting for you in the kitchen to help make the plum pudding, don’t forget to stir the mixture and make a Christmas wish. Each group gets to take their pudding mixture back to school to steam, don’t forget a bowl to take it home in. Take part in a Christmas themed lesson in the Victorian schoolroom with our costumed school teacher. Have a go at a selection of Christmas crafts and learn about some Victorian Christmas traditions.
