Knit and Natter at Market Hall Museum
First Wednesday of the month 1.30pm – 3.30pm (extra dates added – 14th and 21st of November)
Have a go at knitting or crochet at the museum for a good cause. Join fellow crafters for an afternoon to develop your skills, make friends and make items that will be donated to a local charity. The group will be making trauma teddies for children at Warwick Hospital and knitted twiddle mitts for people living with dementia. The sessions are free to attend and you can just turn up, there is also 10% off in the cafe too.
If you can’t make the ‘Knit and Natter’ session, you can still help. We are looking for donations of unused balls of wool and items that can be used to sew on the twiddle mitts. You can also donate made knitted teddies (no buttons) and knitted twiddle mitts. Please pop your donations in the designated basket in the museum.
