Stall Holders needed for Warwick’s Victorian Evening

Victorian Christmas Fair at Market Hall Museum

Thursday 28th November 2019 5 pm – 9 pm.
Applications are invited from stallholders who wish to take part in the Victorian Christmas Fair at Market Hall Museum. Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) are inviting stallholders to sell quality craft and Christmas gifts (no food items please) in the unique surroundings of our historic Market Hall Museum as part of Warwick’s popular Victorian Christmas Evening. The Market Hall Museum reopened its doors to the public in February 2017 following a 17 month £1.5 million redevelopment and has been completely modernised. Market Hall Museum enjoys a central location in the middle of Warwick’s Victorian Christmas Evening.

Last year we saw footfall of over 1400 people between 5pm – 9pm. We also will be running additional activities including the chance to meet Father Christmas in our upstairs Christmas Grotto and family friendly craft activities. HCW regularly use the museum space to run similar events including Vintage Craft Fairs, Warwickshire Open Studios and Warwick Food Festival. As this is the third year of opening for the Victorian Evening we anticipate an audience of over 1500 visitors for this event.

All stallholders will be provided with a 6 foot table or equivalent space. Additional space will be limited to the area directly behind the stall ONLY. Tables will be located on the ground floor of the museum. Indoor and outdoor signage will direct visitors to your stalls on the night. Staff and volunteers will be proactive in letting visitors know about the fair in the run up to the 28th November and will have flyers to give out. All sale proceeds are your own, no commission taken.

Hire of a 6 foot table or equivalent space for one night is £30. Tables can be shared by more than one person.

Market Hall Museum is in a busy town centre location right at the heart of the Victorian Christmas Evening. Special unloading and parking restrictions apply in Warwick on Thursday 29th November. You will be notified about setting up times, parking and unloading details before the event. The Victorian Christmas Fair will be promoted by Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) as a family event suitable for adults and children using our established marketing networks via printed advertising, press and social media.
