Volunteer with Priory Books

Priory Books is a specialist second hand book shop at the County Record Office (off Cape Road in Warwick). The book shop is in the Office reception area.

They need a volunteer to help them organise the shop. You would be sorting and pricing donated books, and changing the stocks and displays in the book shop once a month.

Ideally you would be able to volunteer on Tuesdays for half a day. For more information email:

Volunteer with Market Hall Museum Visitor and Events Team

Market Hall Museum, DSCN3221 - CopyWarwick, reopened in February 2017 after its £1.5 million refurbishment. There are opportunities to volunteer in the galleries, front of house and with events.

We are especially looking for volunteers who are able to volunteer in the afternoons, and who can volunteer at weekends when we have events running.  Market Hall Museum Volunteer Role Profile

Volunteer for Make and Create at Market Hall Museum

We are recruiting a team of volunteers to help run a free monthly ‘Make and Create’ session for families on the first Saturday morning of  each month. In this role you will help set out resources, interact with families, encourage children and adults to visit Museum, and then clear away. Volunteer as the Healey Oral History Project Coordinator

Other Volunteer Roles

Volunteer roles include helping to  process recent archaeological discoveries with our Archaeology team. Conserving and indexing archives at the County Record Office. Getting involved with our Museums and Heritage Education team, for instance at  Arty Tots  our creative session for grandparents and their grandchildren. Or helping us to develop our  wildlife garden at St John’s museum. Why not join our friendly teams who regularly share and learn new skills and knowledge?
