Summer Volunteering Weeks at Market Hall Museum

Are you looking for Volunteering experience this summer? Join us for one week and help by Welcoming visitors, Stewarding galleries, Supporting a weekday family learning event, Sharing original and replica objects, Running informal craft activities, Taking photographs and more.

We just ask you to chose four days between Tuesday and Saturday, and to be with us between 10.00 am and 3.00 pm.

We have spaces for the weeks  7th – 11th August & 22nd – 25th August. You should be 15 years or older.

Volunteer with ReCollections Dementia Cafe at Market Hall Museum

Our monthly Dementia Cafe ‘ReCollections’ is at Market Hall Museum, Warwick on the second Monday of each month. The relaxed activities at the sessions are inspired by our Museum Collections and are for people living with dementia and their carers. We are looking for volunteers to help us run the sessions.

Volunteer with Market Hall Museum Visitor and Events Team

Market Hall Museum, DSCN3221 - CopyWarwick has opportunities in the galleries, front of house and with events – including Make and Create for families on the first Saturday of the month

We are especially looking for volunteers who are able to volunteer in the afternoons, or at weekends when we have events.

Other Volunteer Roles

Volunteer roles that become available from time to time include helping to  process recent archaeological discoveries with our Archaeology team. Conserving and indexing archives at the County Record Office. Getting involved with our Museums and Heritage Education team, for instance at  Arty Tots  our creative session for grandparents and their grandchildren. Or helping us to develop our  wildlife garden at St John’s museum.
