We are involved with a range of public and community engagement projects all across the county that aim to celebrate and highlight the wealth of culture and heritage in Warwickshire.

Whether it’s making short animation films with young people, sharing good memories with elderly people in reminiscence projects or being involved in the restoration and documentation of Warwickshire’s artefacts, landmarks, or landscapes, there is something for everyone.

Our Warwickshire: Creating a new physical and virtual space to enhance the telling of Warwickshire’s stories

The whole of the Heritage and Culture Warwickshire team are currently working on a large Heritage Lottery Funded project called Our Warwickshire. It is based upon the idea of collaboration. Nuneaton Lives 2014

Godiva Awakes

On Saturday 5th July, a brand new celebratory outdoor arts event called ‘Nuneaton Lives’ will take place in Nuneaton Town Centre. Supported by Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) and Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council (NBBC), Nuneaton Lives promises a carnival atmosphere with a number of local community groups, dance schools, choirs, musicians and artists coming together to present a varied programmed of performances and arts activity inspired by Nuneaton’s rich cultural and industrial heritage.  [Read more]

The Pump Room Gardens History and Conservation Project

In 2011 the Friends of the Pump Room Gardens secured a Heritage Lottery grant to enable school children and the local community to learn more about the history of the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa. [Read more]
