Make a donation
We use donations to provide free exhibitions, events and activities.
We also use donations to improve our buildings, such as the platform lift at Market Hall Museum. All visitors can now access the first floor because of your generosity.
Your donation – what could it be used for?
£10 – materials for an ‘Arty-Tots’ session for under fives and their grandparents.
£20 – an hour of specialist conservation on one of the thousands of objects in our collections.
£50 – professional advice from our Social History Curator to a local history group.
£100 – a free evening talk for the public by our geology specialist.
£1000 – a free summer holiday activity day for disadvantaged children. A chance for children to take part in a range of activities, bringing heritage to life.
