Discover a piece of crime and punishment history in Warwick.

This tour covers over 300 years of trials, judgements and imprisonments. See the civil and criminal courts, holding cells and the 17th century dungeon. Hear how justice was handed down in the past.

The tour starts outside the main doors of Old Shire Hall at 10am prompt. Please aim to arrive promptly at 9.50am. The group will proceed to the lower floors so no later arrivals can be accommodated.

Old Shire Hall is a historical building, and this tour includes steep, uneven and narrow stairs. Some floors can be uneven or slippery. Therefore, we do not consider this tour suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Please wear sensible footwear.

This tour is aimed at adults and is not suitable for children under the age of 12 (including carried infants).

Tours take place on Saturday 18 & 25 January, Saturday 8 & 22 February and Saturday 8 March 2025.
