Have you ever heard of the rabbit hole? It's a phrase often heard at the Warwickshire County Record Office, and it happened to one of our volunteers. She started looking into a labourer at Warwick Castle who went to war in 1917 and ended up researching the women who lived in the alms houses of Westgate. Come and follow her journey down this rabbit hole, discover who the women of Westgate were and what their lives were like prior to their final years in an alms house. The event is free, with no need to book.
