Bugs and Bees

Free to take part, suggested donation £3 per child to support the museum.

Buzzing with Life: Discover the World of Bugs and Bees!

Activities include:

Bug Handling with ZooLab (Tapestry Gallery)

Get up close with fascinating bugs!

Sessions: 10.30am to 11.15am, 11.30am to 12.15pm, 12.45pm  to 1.30pm

Prebooking required. Maximum of two adults per child. Please cancel if you are unable to attend. Book a place

Drop in and take part in:

Bug Crafts to take home

Make a Wool-Wrapped Bee Puppet, Beeswax Candle, Pipe Cleaner Dragonfly, and Bee House. Plus colour flower and insect sheets inspired by the Dorothy Cadbury exhibit.

Explore the museum with an insect twist! Pick up a family trail and see what bugs you can find among the exhibits.
