John Willock and Peter Coulls have been working on the ‘Incident Reports’ CR1499 for some time. The information contained within them provides an insight as to the development of WWII at a local level
The details contained there in relied upon a network of Control Rooms to which Police, Air Raid Wardens and others reported. The accuracy of their reports in some instances have proved interesting and expanded the knowledge of the researchers in certain aspects of WWII and associated jargon.
