Halloween at St John's House
The spooks are returning to St John’s House this October with St John’s Haunted House for families and a Halloween Tour for adults in partnership with the Warwickshire Gin Company.
With a new theme ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ and activities for the family event it promises to be another sell out. The adult evening tours are led by the house butler and include the history of the house with a spooky twist, plus tickets include a cocktail and you can steady your nerves y purchasing further drinks from the bar.

Halloween Tour at St John’s House
Date - Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October
Time - 7pm to midnight
Join us for a unique guided tour of St John’s House in Warwick this Halloween!
The St John’s House butler (aka Lord Clifford Hume, the “History Lord”) will guide you around this Jacobean mansion which has a history spanning almost 900 years. The tour lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. Enjoy a free welcome cocktail (or mocktail) from the Warwickshire Gin Company (included in the ticket price), with additional drinks available to purchase at the bar throughout the evening in our authentic Victorian Kitchen.
Feel free to dress up. Ticket holders can purchase drinks at the bar and enjoy the atmosphere of the house before and after their tour experience (7pm – 12 midnight). Last orders 11.45pm.
Tour times - 7pm, 8.30pm and 10pm
This is an adult only event.
Please note a portion of the tour takes place on the first floor of the building and unfortunately, there is no disabled access for this element of the event.

Time - 10am to 4pm
Get ready for a family friendly bone-chilling experience at St John's Haunted House! ring your friends and family along for screams and thrills!
Get spooked as you explore rooms at St John's House, see them as you've never seen them before. Discover the creepy story of Red Riding Hood, go on a trail through the woods and watch out for the Big Bad Wolf!
Make slime to take home and get messy making potions and enjoy messy play.
All activities take place inside or undercover outside.
Undercover seated area available.
Dressing up welcomed for children and adults.
What to expect:
- The experience is family friendly and suitable for children with accompanying adults.
- Your experience will last from 75 to 90 minutes.
- A walk through haunted house experience, consisting of a suite of rooms on the ground floor at St John's House
- Children's trail through the haunted house
- Only paying children will make slime and a witch craft, if you want your two-year-old child to take part in these activities please book a child ticket
- Messy play area making potions
- Halloween playdough area for under fives
- Coffee van for hot drinks and snacks
- Sweet bags available to buy, cash only.
£12 for children, £6 for adults plus a booking fee. Adult tickets include a hot drink from Pickled & Tipsy Mobile Café.
