Our volunteer roles support a range of services and activities within Heritage and Culture Warwickshire. Volunteering opportunities in some of these areas are subject to availability. Market Hall Museum
- visitor welcome / meet and greet

Museum Collections
- cleaning and packing objects
- listing contents of boxes
- undertaking simple repairs
- updating object’s locations
St Johns House
- volunteer gardener
County Record Office
- indexing historical documents
- transcribing documents
- general cleaning and repairing of objects
- supporting the onsite conservation team
Learning and Engagement
Helping with informal learning activities including:
- Arty Tots (our weekly activity group for grandparents and their grandchildren)
- Sketch in the Museum (our monthly activity encouraging visitors to sketch items within our collection)
- Knit and Natter (our regular group that meet for knitting and socialising)
- Make and Create (our monthly children’s craft activities)
Our Warwickshire
- researching and writing articles for our history website
Warwickshire Online Volunteering Network (WOVeN)
The award winning WOVeN is the umbrella name for our remote volunteering opportunities. This is a great way to get involved from the comfort of your home. Previous projects include Mining the Seams - transcribing and indexing historic mining compensation records.
