Investigate original documents from World War 1 at Warwickshire County Record Office and tour the strongrooms where they are stored. A mixed collection of documents are available to be examined allowing for different learning styles and abilities; letters, photographs, newspaper articles and postcards. They cover themes such as the role of women in the First World War, conditions on the Front, life back home, commemorating the fallen. At the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum pupils will be able to handle real objects from the museum’s collection. They will be able to try on replica costume and feel what it was like to wear a World War 1 uniform.
