Market Hall Museum Volunteering Opportunities

Front of House Host Volunteer - between 2 - 5 hours once a week (Tues-Sat).

We are looking for approachable, personable, good communicators who enjoy engaging with visitors. The café and shop can become very busy during peak periods so experience in a vibrant busy retail or hospitality environment is a great advantage.

Tasks include:

  • Encouraging a welcoming, inclusive environment in the Museum.
  • Operating the digital till in the shop and café (training will be provided).
  • Supporting the Retail & Café Staff in their day-to-day duties, as requested.
  • Due to the nature of this role, Volunteers will need to be able to stand whilst in the front of house area of the museum (staff break areas are available).
  • Advocating for Heritage & Culture Warwickshire as they engage with the community.
  • Hosting community activities in the Museum. If you would like more information or express an interest please contact LucyTibbles@warwickshire.gov.uk
