Mining the Seams
This digital (remote) volunteering project from the County Record Office involves transcribing historic mining compensation records from the Warwickshire coalfields. By helping us you will assist research into the health and wellbeing of miners from 1899 to 1940.
All the documents have been digitised and will be shared with you online and there will be an online spreadsheet to complete. There are support guides and videos to help you get started and the project team will answer your queries.
To find out more have a look at the Mining the Seams Role Profile.

Depositions Indexing Project
This remote volunteering opportunity supports the work of Warwickshire County Record Office. You will be reading digitised witness statements from 19th and early 20th century court cases and transferring key information into an online spreadsheet. This information will build into a searchable database, opening up our collections to a wider audience.
