Copying services
We offer a range of services to provide digital and paper copies of documents from our collections for personal research, commercial purposes and for publication
If you would like to enquire about any of our copying services please contact us via email at recordoffice@warwickshire.gov.uk providing us with the details and/or reference number(s) for the documents you would like us to copy, We will then provide you with a quote for the appropriate service(s) and a link to the online order form
Payments
All payments can be made online. A link will be sent to you automatically when you submit your online order form.
Our Services
Photocopies by post
We can supply reference quality copies up to A3 (29 x 43cm, 11 ¾” x 16 ½”).
We cannot supply copies of parchment, photographs or bound volumes, please see our digital standard and premium services below.
Copies can be supplied by post or by email (low resolution scan).
Digital orders - Standard
We can supply reference quality digital images of originals up to A3 (29 x 43cm, 11 ¾” x 16 ½”).
For access and research purposes only
Copies will be supplied electronically
Digital orders - Premium
We can supply high quality digital images of originals up to A0 (84 x 118cm, 33” x 47”), although larger sizes may be possible. Transparent originals e.g. negatives and slides up to 11 x 26.5cm / 4¼” x 10½”.
For large or complicated requests
For all images intended for publishing. Details on permission to publish
Copies will be supplied electronically.
Reader printer copies by post
We can supply a paper copy of a page or entry from microfilm.
We will need enough information to locate the relevant page/entry of the microfilm you wish copied. For example, a printout from a parish register would require:
- The name(s) of the person(s)
- The date and type of event
- The parish

Copies will be sent by post.
Microfilm copies
Please contact us if you wish to obtain copies of any of our microfilms so we can prepare a quotation.
Motor vehicle taxation records
We can provide copies from the registers and surrender cards of the Warwickshire County Licence Office.
Details such as engine and chassis numbers are typically only found on the surrender card, however a surrender card does not exist for every registration number.
We cannot guarantee that sufficient information will be found in every case to allow re-registration with the DVLA.
